Ed Schultz is an award winning air talent, programmer, and radio manager with more than 20 years of radio and TV experience.  He is the #1 broadcaster on the #1 Talk radio station in America (KFGO-Fargo) as defined by audience share.  He is currently heard in three states.  Schultz has won many prestigious awards in the radio industry including the Peabody and the Marconi. Football fans know he is the NCAA record holder for passing in one season, and he is a former quarterback for the Oakland Raiders.

The show has the active support of talk radio professionals around the . His progressive talk programming is balanced and fair.  Studies show 48% of today’s talk radio listeners would choose a program that is middle of the road or somewhat liberal versus only 48% who prefer very conservative or somewhat conservative. In other words there is a substantial audience looking for an alternative voice.

The Result

In just over one year Jones Radio marketed, affiliated, and helped propel Ed Schultz into the lead role of the new progressive radio market. He had more carriage on Air America stations than many of that networks own shows. With more than 100 affiliates Ed became the voice of the new moderate.
